In June of this year we sadly said goodbye to two of our colleagues: Christian our Pathway Coordinator, and Joanna one of our Caseworkers.
Christian has played a pivotal role in helping shape the No First Night Out project into what it is today. Alongside our partners, Christian has done the unimaginable by delivering a personalised and affordable accommodation pathway for our clients. Not only has he ensured the project fulfils its commitment to prevent individuals from going on to rough sleep through housing more NFNO clients into private rented accommodation each year, but Christian has also helped elevate the project's strategic influence and partnership working with colleagues across London and nationally.
Joanna joined the project in September 2018 and in that time achieved great outcomes for her clients. She has inspired and energised her colleagues to work towards excellence.
The good news is, recruitment for two new caseworkers was a great success, so we are delighted to welcome to the team Sarah, who started in June, and Stuart who started in July.
Sarah and Stuart bring a great wealth and diversity of experience to the team, and we're really exciting to see them contribute to this most important year of the project.
A new Pathway Manager, Nisha, joined us in August. NFNO continues to be led by our Project Manager Kirsty, with the support of the Chair of our Steering Group Will and our other senior colleagues at the City of London and Tower Hamlets.
