On 21st November 2019, No First Night Out held a Partnership Group meeting at the fantastic City Centre venue beneath the Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London.
Speakers on the day included Dan from Buses 4 Homeless, who spoke passionately about the project and gave us a virtual tour of the buses they have converted into spaces for eating, sleeping, learning and wellbeing.
We also welcomed back Becky Rice from St Mungo’s/Becky Rice Consulting who shared with us some of her findings from her NFNO Final Evaluation (November 2019). It was also the official launch of the NFNO report ‘Pathways to Preventing Homelessness’ (September 2019), written by Christian MacNamara who worked with No First Night Out as Pathway Coordinator. Both reports can be viewed on our Reports & Briefings page.
The ‘Pathways to Preventing Homelessness’ report was also the basis of our workshop, where we asked our groups to focus in on the key findings and asked how they would shape a pathway for particular cohorts of clients. This sparked some lively debate and radical ideas for us to take forward! Many thanks to our caseworkers Sarah and Stuart for guiding the groups and encouraging some amazing suggestions.
This was our sixth Partnership Group meeting and we are so very grateful to everyone that attended and participated on the day.
And finally, a huge thank you to the team at The City Centre for supporting the event.
